Included Insurance Coverage
All rental rates on our website include full insurance with zero deductible. This means you are fully covered and no amount will be blocked or charged on your credit card for insurance purposes. The included coverages are:
- Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW)
- Full Damage Waiver (FDW)
- Theft Protection (TP / FTH)
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
- Tire and Windshield Protection (TW)
- Third-Party Liability Insurance (up to €50,000)
- Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
What’s Not Covered
Even with full coverage, the following are excluded and the renter is responsible for the full cost of damage or loss in these cases:
- Damage caused by negligent or reckless driving
- Driving off-road or in unauthorized areas
- Violation of traffic laws (e.g. speeding, ignoring stop signs)
- Mechanical or electrical damage caused by misuse (e.g. using the wrong fuel)
- Undercarriage or suspension damage
- Damage to vehicle electronics or engine due to driver error
- Interior damage
- Lost or damaged vehicle keys
- Administrative fees related to traffic fines or accidents
Responsibility in Case of Exclusions
If any of the above exclusions apply, the customer is fully liable and will be charged the total cost of repair or replacement by the local rental office.
No Deductible Block
Since all rates include complete insurance (SCDW, TW, FTH, FDW, CDW), there is no deductible held or blocked on the renter’s credit card at pickup.
